AGC of Utah and Weber State have partnered to bring the WeBuildUtah Career Exploration and Job Fair to Northern Utah. This event aims to allow over 500 high school students to experience architecture, engineering, construction, interior design and more via hands-on experiences. In addition to the hands-on learning experiences, the students are encouraged to network with employers and obtain summer internships. The second half of the event serves as a job fair for current or potential job seekers. This includes college and trade students as well as the Department of Workforce Services current pool of candidates. Job seeking community members are also encouraged to attend the second half of the day.
Each vendor will have a table in an industry specific quadrant of the parking lot. Setup can begin at 8:00 AM. If you would like to bring heavy equipment or an activity that will need more space than a table/booth or 12x12 area, please email afarner@agc-utah.org as these spots are limited.
Lunch is provided.
For the hands-on portion of the day, the event aims to have a variety of equipment available for students to use and experience. Examples include: for lifts, mini excavators, cement trucks, etc. If your company is interested in providing this opportunity at the event, please list what equipment you will bring during registration.
